    im coming for you gashly

  3. It was a landslide decision to go to Blackpool on tour next year. I will get firm costs etc and come back to get numbers! I will need a £40 deposit once it has been finalised, Then I will suggest doing 2 payments of £55 maybe one in Febuary and then April! The weekend we are going to go for is 20/8/09 leaving on the Friday and returning on the Monday! (non teachers will need to take the friday and monday off!) Ideally we want to take 16-18 players, non players are welcome too!

  4. WWWWWWhhhheeeeyyyyy

    still top

  5. How many Film titles he can get in!!??! mission impossible do u reckon!!!! haha

  6. liking the animal based report! What category shall we give keith next?

  7. Tour sounds good to me Scott. The reference to Craig on the homepage was indeed a dig at his pathetic diving!!!

  8. obviously I am having a busy day at work today!! I have a quote for £250 per person for 3 nights from Friday 20/8/10 in Amsterdam with 2 games! This includes private coach hire, ferry crossing, accommodation and the games/refs etc. the price is for up to 25 people travelling!

  9. I am putting together a few proposals for a football tour for next year! I am looking at either the last bank holiday in May or a weekend in August (probably not the bank holiday as it is quite near the start of the football season. I have a couple of options in Belguim and Holland (looking at about £300 for 3 nights and 2 games) or £100-£150 for 2 nights and 2 games in the UK. Firstly I need to know who is interested and what dates are most suitable. then also i need to know the preferred destination and budget of people. those who are interested can you e-mail me(swolters@hotmail.co.uk) or speak to me on Sat or Training. cheers!

  10. I'm gonna learn to read first!!! was it his Eduardo Style Dive!! difference is Eduardo got caught!!

  11. What has Criag Pulling done!! - Sorry Ryan, think i filled this in the contact us box first!!!!!!

  12. ...He scores a goal, and suddenly he's all confident and critical and that...

  13. next fixtures on the 19th of sepember? Surely that spelling mistake is making you uncomfortable Ryan?

  14. whhhheeyyyy yea got it working thanks

  15. Dan, if your computer is blocking pop-up's, hold down 'Ctrl' when you click the link and the table should open, keep holding 'Ctrl' until it opens in a new window. You're top by the way, good work!

  16. it wont let me check the table on the fantasy football

  17. I didn't realise we had a web page!! It's brilliant. I promise i will never ask where or when we have a game without checking this first.

  18. 2nd already! What do i get if i win?

  19. Alright boys! Well done on a good season. Unlucky in the Cup! I was just wondering if the Reserves would like to play us at a friendly at the rec during August this year. Two fairly evenly balanced sides and the added edge of it being a local derby. We have most dates in August available but the back end of the month is better for us. If one of you could get this message to Brian or whoever's in charge of arranging friendlies, and get them to reply to the email address given, it would be much appreciated. Thanks Alex Banfield, Broadford Bridge FC.

  20. WCFC end of season AGM is scheduled for next Friday 24th April, in the Sports Pavillion, starting at 7.30. Please make every effort to attend in support of your Football Club for the coming season. The main part of the evening will be the annual prize giving and Fantasy football award and after the meeting we plan to move on to the Queens Head for end of season drinks.

  21. Don't forget West Chiltington FC are in the Centenary Cup Final v Newtown Villa from the Premier Division next Wednesday 8th April. It's being played at Arundel's ground, 7.30pm ko and all support would be very welcomed. So get yourselves down to the match and give your team the support they deserve.

  22. In relation to A.B's comment of 'save of the season' this is due to the solid back four he has in front of him! he doesnt have many saves to make! So the gaffer only has a few to pick when he says save of the season!! This back four is like Arsenal of Old!!!!

  23. Great result last week chaps. I would just like to direct your attention to the match report, in particular the 'save of the season' quote from Gaffer.

  24. I hate golf, but I'd play!

  25. I will have a word with Scott Foxon and Craig Holden, They play a lot at West chilt Golf Club. I'm sure they both know people up there and could try and organise something!

  26. Golf day would be quality,

Leave your name if you would be up for it

  27. WEST CHILT GOLF DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking with Craig and Jack on the way home from training last night we thought it would be good to do a West Chilt golf day. I know some of you play and think it would be a good day out. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll speak to social secretary Gash and we'll get it sorted. Also congratulations to the first team for making it to the final of the cup!

  28. Nice work Gash, keep it up mate.

You love it a little too much though.

  29. BREAKING NEWS...Transfer activity is frenzied and with only 3 days until the window slams shut for the season, make sure you register your changes in time - 1.30pm on Saturday 3rd January (1st team kick off time). Who cares if Defoe is lured back to Tottenham, that Jermaine Pennant wants to realise his dream move to Spain, or that Roque Santa Cruz looks likely to seal a mega bucks move to 'middle' Eastlands in the next 24 hours? Do you have the wheeler dealer nous of Harry Redknapp, the eye for an unpolished gem like Arsene Wenger, or will you disasterously flop in the transfer market like Damien Comolli? With household names such as Gower, Freeman, Marett, Woodford and King available for knockdown prices, WCFF is where it's really happening...'CLUB NEWS/FANTASY FOOTBALL' is where you can find all you need to make those decisive changes to revitalise your team, or to secure a championship charge this festive season!

  30. The 1 week Fantasy Football transfer window opens on Saturday December 27th and remains open until Saturday 3rd January, therefore any changes must take place (and be with me by via any /communicative/media format) before kick-off on Saturday 3rd. New players and values (highlighted in yellow) can be found online at Club News/Fantasy Football Happy Christmas shopping!

  31. I hope you are all enjoying this season's Fantasy Football competition, well at least those of you who entered it. In response to recent feedback, we will be making a couple of changes to the selection process & scoring system. Firstly, we are introducing a January transfer window, which will come into effect on the 1st Saturday of January 2009. following the blank fixture weekend immediately after Christmas. At the grand cost of £1, you can make up to 4 changes to your team, provided you stay within the £50m budget, one change maximum in the positions of goalkeeper, defender, midfielder & striker.

The player selection list has been updated to include our more recent signings and exclude those who have left the Club. Changes must be with Ryan by the end of year with payment to me, else they will not be included.

Secondly we are increasing the scoring potential of goalkeepers & defenders. From 1st Saturday in January they will receive an additional 10 points for keeping a clean sheet, 5 additional points for conceding only 1 goal before minus points come into play on conceding 2 goals or more. Furthermore keepers & defenders now get 7 points for scoring a goal, so goal scoring is now 3, 5 or 7 points depending on where you play. We hope this will give you keepers & defenders extra incentive to keep the ball out of our net and as an additional incentive to all we are now increasing the MOM award from 5 points to 10. Best of luck and start thinking about any changes, player values will be posted in the pavillion from next Saturday.

  32. Quiz night was great fun...still sure that Millers' Muppets were robbed though - never trust a man with a moustache in the 21st century! Well done again for those that organised the event, looking forward to the Christmas event and good luck to both teams - particularly the first team against Angmering in the cup this Saturday!

  33. Thanks to all of you who turned up on Saturday for the WCFC quiz nite, and for those that didn't, well you can make up for it by attending the forthcoming Christmas bash or else!! Many thanks to Callum for setting the questions and congratulations to the winning team made up of Craig Pulling, Jack Halliday and partners (brainy geeks!). It was quite a day for Craig, who earlier scored two goals for the 2nds, won the MOM award, got booked and gave away a penalty! Is there no stopping this man? The good news is that the evening raised £90 which will be held as a fund for the ongoing development and maintenance of this website. So our next event is the Christmas bash, which won't be worth holding unless we get a good turnout, so please support your club and those who are doing their best to make these events happen. Meanwhile let's get some wins under our belts.

  34. Right lads, as The Gaffa said, we need to start thinking about a Christmas party of some sorts. First off has anyone got any ideas? Kareoke has so far been suggested, but what will get you all to turn up at the Queens Head on a Saturday night? I will speak to the Queens Head about food etc. We want to try and get as many people as possible to support the club. So lets have some ideas. Also we are probably gonna be looking at either Sat 13th or Sat 20th December - What is the preference, I'm not sure if there are any home games on these dates, I will check and come back to you!

  35. Now I've grapped your attention with news of two forthcoming social events, now's the rub, we've got to pay for them. Your committee is open to any ideas regarding fund raising so don't be shy, tell us what you think might work and be prepared to do your bit in making it happen. One such event is a jumble sale in January or February, not very cool I know, but they can be good fund raisers. I'll let you know the date as soon as I have it, but meanwhile look out anything you no longer won't which we might be able to sale, and on the day whilst you will probably be playing get your better halves to attend, to help out on the stalls and to buy back all the gear you've provided!!

  36. The Quiz nite below is one of a number of social events we hope to hold throughout this season. Some will be solely for our amusement and entertainment, whilst others will be for fund raising reasons in order to be able to pay for said amusement and entertainment!! The next will be our Christmas bash, which like the Quiz nite, I would like us to hold at the Queens Head in return for their very kind support in sponsoring the 1sts this year.

So we need a date that suits as many of you as possible and ideas of what you would like laid on. And of course your attendance on the day. Suggestions please.

  37. Yet another reminder guys that it's the WCFC Quiz nite on Saturday 22nd November at the Queens Head starting at 7pm. I've arranged for us to take over the public bar so we should all be quite cosy. Food is being laid on free of charge and there will be prizes for the winning team. Entry is £2 a head and all collected will go into a special fund to maintain and develop our website and to cover costs relating. You are of course welcome to bring partners and guests, the more the merrier. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR FOOTBALL CLUB.

  38. Ryan's asked me to comment on our website so here goes. It's good to see YellowJersey is at last up-to-date. There you will see that there are no fixtures on Saturday 27th December so I have cancelled training on Tuesday 23rd December to give us all a week off. Training resumes the following Tuesday 30th in preparation for a full fixture programme on January 3rd.

  39. Good work keeping the website up to date Gash! Be nice if some more of you wrote on here, it keeps Ryan happy! Really pleased with the turnout at training lads, keep it up!

  40. Phew...great result in the end for the 1st's today, I thought all the players showed great spirit to come back twice and keep fighting 'till the end; let's keep the good start going at Ashington next week!

  41. Great weekend for both teams! Congrats to all the players who have worked hard during pre-season. Looks like it's paying off! Keep up the hard work though.

  42. one thing we've definately got in common with you (reserves) is that we've got Ashington Rovers Reserves in the cup(s)

but yeh mike's right, our website is better and it will continue to get better. shame we couldnt arrange a friendly against you in the summer, maybe next year.

  43. Got to stick with alex on this one, this website is very dark in colours. Should be brighter.

Although our website does have ALOT of adverts.

  44. Not a chance Alex...it's good, but so many random adverts on your site! Good luck for the season though, keep checking back, new stuff added throughout the season!

  45. Well good luck this season you guys, Ben, Mike and I are back playing for our old team (Broadford Bridge) this season and hopefully we can get promoted to play against your reserves in the 09/10 season. Must say though, whilst your website is good, ours is better - www.broadfordbridgefc.co.uk

  46. the site is looking good. First fixtures this weekend, come on the chilts

  47. It will indeed Alex, and the more it's used the more stuff will go on here...it's a little better than decent as it is though!

  48. wahey! finally west chilt's got a decent website up and running. will this one actually stay up to date?

  49. There is another in which it doesn't have the desired slimming affect...it's been held back though!

  50. Yeah....................meant to write luke!

  51. Look actually looks slim in that photo! Maybe it does suck it all in!

  52. Just want to shut the pea-head up! Be careful with those headers gash!

  53. Whether you're a player or fan, want to praise or be critical, please leave your comments here!
